Son-In-Solitary-ConfinementAmy Goodman interviews Jules Lobel, the president of the Center for Constitutional Rights and a law professor at the University of Pittsburgh, the lead attorney representing prisoners at Pelican Bay in the lawsuit challenging long-term solitary confinement in California prisons, and Dolores Canales, the co-founder of California Families to Abolish Solitary Confinement and Family Unity Network. Her son, John Martinez, has been held in solitary confinement at Pelican Bay for more than 14 years.
